1.As usual,all of us gathered for the fifth meeting and also the last meeting at the study area near CIMB bank. 2.Our group leader,Hui Lian give some briefing about the plot of the School of Rock. 3.Then,we do the discussion about the movie that we have watch before,School of Rock. 4.We discuss about the main idea of the movie and main character. 5.We enjoyed during our discussion as all of us had different view about the movie.

1)Who are the 5 most important characters in he film?List out the names of the actors playing them .

2)What is the story about?

            Hell-raising guitarist Dewey Finn is an anti-establishment to the hilt,an irreverent to the max,and he worships the power of rock and roll.With a perchant for stage-dives and 20 minutes soos,Dewey is determined to lead his rock group to the victory at the Battle of the Bands.But,sadly his own band mates fire him instead because of his arrogant and he is very hyperactive on the stage makes him to be seemed annoying.

            Down-and-out,in need of rent money and wallowing in his apartment strewn with take-out  containers,Dewey picks up Ned’s phone call,intend to be Ned which is his roommate and,impulsively accepts a job as a substitute teacher  at the prestigious Horace Green Elemantary School.There,by-the-book Principal Mullins watches his every move like a hawk.But,when Dewey does not have a clue on how to teach,he does know how to inspire confidence in his young fifth graders.When Dewey accidentally overhears them performing in an orchestra class,he decides to mould these young musical prodigies into a high-voltage rock band,which changes their lives forever.

3)What group of people would like to watch his film?

In my opinion,I think that mostly kids and teenagers would like to watch this film.Teenagers like it might be because most of the actors are teenagers and the rock music in this film is the favourite part of most teenagers.Kids will like to watch this movie too because it has the sense of humour in this movie.Kids will enjoy watching it.

AFTER MOVIE

1) Do you like this movie? why or why not?

     No, I don't like this movie. Because I don't like the part when Dewey Finn(main character) was desperate for income and to avoid getting evicted, he impersonate his own 
friend Ned Schneebly  and takes the job as a substitute teacher. I don't like this situation as  he is betraying his own friend. 

2) What rating would you give for this movie? 
    3 out of 5 stars. 

3)What spoilers would ruin this movie if you told your readers about it? 
     Dewey lied to his students about the 'Battle of the Band' competition. He told them that it was one of the school project and they participated in it. He asked his students to practice music everyday instead of teaching the actual course. He did it for his own benefit where he was out to avenge his eviction from his old band and won the $20,000 prize. 

4) All movies teach a lesson (theme or moral). What did you learn from this movie?  

 Being determined. Dewey will do anything just to achieve his dream that is to become a rock star. Because of his strong passionate in music, he uses the chance that he has when he knows his student is musically talented. In the result, he could convert the class into a rock band successfully.
